The experience at Banyan Tree delivered a fantastic private pool villa and breathtaking views, but the facilities seemed a bit dated with minor maintenance issues. The friendly staff made the stay memorable, while the dining offered impressive selections yet came with high prices. Overall, a relaxing getaway.

Perfect for Couples Seeking Relaxation
Let me tell you, staying in that Rainforest Seaview Villa was like being wrapped in nature's embrace, filled with the sounds of birds and even some peculiar monkeys swinging by. And the staff? Omas and Kasir are gems, went above and beyond to, even prepared some surprises for us at the villa. It was nice, you know?
It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly, worth the experience.

I stayed in the Rainforest Oceanfront Villa and the views were stunning! The room had a nice outdoor area and a dipping pool to relax in. However, the pool was a bit dirty, and the room itself felt a bit aged. Also, the sea view was mostly blocked, which was a letdown because I really wanted to enjoy a beautiful sea view from the window. Overall, it was a mixed experience in terms of comfort and maintenance.

The ambiance is on point and the staff are super friendly. Plus, the breakfast buffet is a feast for the senses! Can't forget the stunning sea view from the Ocean Villa. it just hits different.
Now, let's keep it real, those in-house dining prices can make you choke — 32 SGD for a basic glass of wine? ! The beach is a hike from the main property, and the pools don't have bars, so good luck getting a drink on the fly.

We had a fantastic getaway with friends, enjoying the stunning views of the South China Sea. Our villa with a private pool was perfect for relaxation, and we explored local beaches and spa treatments. The staff was super friendly and service was prompt, making everything hassle-free.
The only downside was that the jacuzzi was uncovered, which led to some dirt and insects being a bit of a nuisance.

infinity pool villa, private outdoor jacuzzi pool, stunning ocean views
No fitness center on-site, just a buggy ride to sister hotel for one!!! Steep slopes everywhere, making mobility a nightmare!!! Buggy drivers helpful, but still need better access for those with disabilities!!! Dirty microwave and limited kitchen amenities seriously underwhelming!!!

a relaxing stay with stunning ocean views
The oceanview infinity pool villa offered breathtaking views that were simply mesmerizing. The staff stood out for their genuine hospitality, especially Kaiser and Tera, who made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the fantastic spa facilities, which added a much-needed touch of luxury to our vacation.
The only drawback was the high cost of in-house dining, which made us think twice before ordering.

missingWrote a review on 09 Marstunning sunsetprivate atmospherepoor dining
The view from the Rainforest Seaview Villa showcases lush greenery and the vibrant colors of sunset over the sea, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The private villa setup offers an impeccable blend of luxury and nature, allowing for a unique retreat experience.
Dining options are a real letdown. the restaurants don't meet the high standards expected from a luxury spot. Every meal feels constrained due to limited nearby choices and steep prices, with unsightly surroundings at one venue. Additionally, some villas show signs of needed maintenance and come off a bit dated, which can detract from the overall vibe. The lack of a gym facilities adds to the feeling of being constrained.
